Garden Room in Clifton - Completed in time for Summer!

A new Garden Room extension was successfully completed at the beginning of August. The clients are so happy with the result and now have a light airy new space that links to the kitchen internally, and via folding/sliding doors, provides a seemless link to the patio and garden. This scheme included my production of a Full Construction Drawing package for the Builder. Supporting North Bristol Foodbank

Living for many years in North Bristol, the local community remains very important to me. Paul Davis, who is also a former member of the North Bristol Art Trail, took part in a fund raiser - selling small, affordable prints and postcards of his art to raise funds to support the North Bristol Foodbank. This pop-up "walk-by" Socially Distanced table sale raised £125! Thank you to all whose purchased mini-artworks.

PI DAVIS Architectural Design has been given the opportunity to work on a local landmark. The Queen's Head next to Eastville park, is a beautiful late Victorian Public House that began life as "The Queen's Hotel". The refurbished first floor will be changed back from a huge residential flat, to an 8 bedroom Bed and Breakfast. I am providing a full Design and Planning Service for the client. A bungalow is born!

PI DAVIS Architectural Design work with Local Builders and this Bungalow was completed earlier in the month. However, whilst the bungalow was designed to compliment others on the street, this one has a Master Bedroom suite tucked into the roof space! New Agricultural Barn - Under Construction

An Agricultural Barn, designed by PI Davis Architectural Design, measuring a total internal floor area of 500 square metres was granted Planning Permission by South Gloucestershire Council in December and is now under construction as shown in these photographs.

A Grand Design - Listed Property in Clevedon

Paul Davis has been commissioned to provide a Design and Planning Application for a new extension to a Listed Building in Wellington Terrace, Clevedon. The brief is to provide a period addition to replace a lean-to structure on the side elevation that internally will provide the client with a contemporary kitchen and dining area. Update: This application was granted Planning Permission and construction was completed - see the "Residential" section for photographs.

Perfecto Coffee Gloucester Road Commission

Paul Davis has been commissioned by Local Business Owner, Mr. Aly Hussain (Owner of "The Blue Lagoon" Bar, Gloucester Road) to provide a full exterior and interior design for a new business he is opening in a vacant shop unit on Gloucester Road that will become a showroom and supplier of commercial coffee machines imported from Italy. Update: Perfecto Coffee has opened !

Online Advertising returns positive results

One of my aspirations is to provide Affordable Architectural Design within my Local Community - opening up a Professional Design Service to all budgets. Local advertising on Gumtree and Friday Ad websites has already delivered new clients looking to avoid the high costs associated with corporately structured Architectural Practices. I will be advertising soon in local print media and on other online portals.

Current Projects

Some very interesting projects are now underway including a full refurbishment and extension of a bungalow in Long Ashton, a scheme of 5 houses in Whitehall, 8 Executive houses in Longwell Green, an Urban Campsite with Community Hub in Bristol and an Agricultural Barn in Old Sodbury.
